If we’re talking weather, well, not so much. But summer has wound down, and a change of seasons is definitely in the air! School has started, fall decorations (and Christmas!) are out, pumpkin spice is everywhere, and things have quieted down this month at the library after a very busy and successful summer reading program. But–we’re just gearing up for FALL ACTIVITIES!
Tuesday, October 1 is the start of our Fall Storytime for 3- to 5-year-olds. The theme is “Community Helpers”, and it will be a fun time of stories, songs, and crafts centered around learning about the people in our community who help us. The program will run every Tuesday from 10:30-11:00 am through Nov. 5. Sign up at the library or call us at 740-732-4506.
The monthly Puzzle Swap begins again on Tuesday, September 24. It is free and open to all ages. Contact Misty Wyscarver at misty.wyscarver@outlook.com if you have any questions.
The Caldwell Community Seed Library will have a class on “Preparing for Frost & Saving Seeds” on Tuesday, September 24 from 2:00-3:30 pm at the Library Annex. For questions or to RSVP call: 740-732-5681.
Looking ahead, keep an eye out for our Fall Book Sale, which should take place sometime in November.
To keep up to date on everything happening at the library, check our Facebook page and our website calendar. And don’t forget to stop in for a book or movie to pass the time as the days get shorter (and cooler–eventually!). Happy Fall!
