January definitely gave us a dose of winter, and now that we’ve thawed out, why not see what’s new in February at the library?
Our preschool age Winter Storytime kicks off Tuesday, February 4 from 10:30 to 11:00. Just call the library at 740-732-4506 to sign up your 3-5-year-old. The theme is “Friendship & Kindness”.
The Noble County Health Department will be at the library Friday, February 7 from 10 am till noon doing free blood pressure checks.
On Friday, February 14, stop in and get a Valentine from us!
Interested in your family history? Why not come to the monthly meeting of the Noble County Genealogical Society (located in the Annex) on Saturday, February 15 at 11:00 am. For more information, email them at noblecoogs@gmail.com.
The monthly Puzzle Swap will be Tuesday, February 25 from 5-7 pm. Bring in your puzzles to exchange with others, or if you don’t have puzzles, stop in anyway–there are extras. Contact Misty Wyscarver at misty.wyscarver@outlook.com if you have questions or comments.
It’s still a good time to stay in where it’s warm and enjoy a movie or book. Come check out some of our new movies: Here with Tom Hanks and Robin Wright; Venom: The Last Dance; and the inspirational film The Forge, from the creators of War Room. Your favorite popular authors have new books out: The Texas Murders by James Patterson; Order of Swans by Jude Deveraux; Clive Cussler’s Desolation Code; Jonathan Kellerman’s Open Season; and Presumed Guilty by Scott Turow.
Need tax forms? If you’re thinking of working on your taxes and need forms printed out, we can do that (we do have to charge for the copies).
Whether you just need to get out and about a little bit or want to get something to do while staying in, we hope you’ll visit soon!
